What this site collects, and why.

The form

When you fill in the form on the Start page we receive what you typed: your name, your business, your trade, your city, your current website if you have one, what you want the site to do, your email, your phone if you add it, and any notes. Our form service delivers it to our inbox as an email. The website itself keeps no copy and has no database.

We use it for one thing: to look at your business and reply to you. It does not go on a list, and nobody else gets it. We keep the email as long as we are talking with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back.

The form has a hidden field that people never see. If a bot fills it in, the message is dropped. That is the only trick on the page.

Visits

We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages people read and where they came from. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of your visit with your IP address shortened. We use that to improve the site, not to advertise to you. We do not run advertising pixels, and we do not buy or sell data about you.

If you would rather not be counted, a browser extension that blocks analytics works on this site exactly as it does everywhere else. The site works the same with it on.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Your requests

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the form, or reply to any email we have sent you. We answer within two business days and we do not ask why.

Children

This site is for business owners. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we change this page and the date at the top. We will not change it quietly.
